After eight grueling days of play and a record-chasing field of 9,208 entries, the 2026 WSOP Main Event final table is down to nine players chasing poker’s biggest prize: a $10,000,000 first-place payout and the Main Event gold bracelet. Following a three-week broadcast delay, reviving the “November Nine” format last used in 2016, the final table returns live at Paris Las Vegas from August 3-5, 2026, airing on ESPN/ESPN2 in the US and via Eurosport/TNT Sports internationally.

Chip leader: Lucas Jumalon, a 22-year-old business and data analytics graduate from Spokane, Washington, enters the final table with more than a third of all chips in play — over 115,000,000 clear of the field. His Day 8 heroics included adding nearly 154,000,000 chips to his stack, highlighted by a massive river call with a full house against Michael Traynor for a pot worth more than 50,000,000 chips. He capped the day by eliminating reigning Aussie Millions Main Event champion Malcolm Trayner in 10th place to lock in the final nine. Before this run, Jumalon had career earnings under $200,000 and mostly played low-stakes events.
Notable names remaining:
- Greg Mueller – a 55-year-old former professional hockey player with three WSOP bracelets, known for relying on live reads over pure GTO play.
- Michael Gagliano – four-time WSOP bracelet winner (including a 2016 live title and three WSOP Online bracelets), finally breaking through on his 18th Main Event attempt. He’s a New Jersey-based pro from Glen Gardner.
- Mario Boos – France’s representative, with roughly $230,000 in career live earnings, mostly at smaller buy-ins before this deep run.
Every finalist is already guaranteed at least $1,000,000, with the payout climbing steeply from there up to the $10 million top prize.
