Last Updated on September 2, 2026 by Bala Kumar

Fourteen days. Fourteen tournaments. Buy-ins from $15,000 to $200,000, and not a single event below five figures.

The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series returns to Les A Casino in Jeju on Thursday, September 4, and this stop carries more weight than most. It marks Triton’s 10th anniversary year, and for the first time in its history the Triton Invitational,  the tour’s signature event pairing businessmen with elite professionals,  is being staged in Asia.

Here’s the full schedule, what to watch for, and how to follow it.

The $200,000 Triton Invitational: September 12

This is the headline event, and it is genuinely historic.

Every previous Triton Invitational has been staged in Europe or the Caribbean. Jeju is the format’s Asia debut. The concept is unique to Triton: invited businessmen and recreational players buy in alongside elite professionals they bring with them, producing fields that mix the wealthiest amateurs in poker with the best players alive.

The most recent edition, at Triton Montenegro in May 2026, became the largest Invitational ever held. Adrian Mateos topped a 133-player field to win $6,370,000 — the biggest cash of his career.

Phil Ivey, Bryn Kenney and Ethan “Rampage” Yau are among the names confirmed for the Jeju field.

The $100,000 Main Event: September 14

The Triton Jeju Main Event carries a $100,000 buy-in and a deep structure with 50-minute levels.

Context for what this event can draw: the 2025 Jeju Main Event attracted 285 entries, making it the largest tournament ever held at that buy-in level anywhere in poker. Danny Tang won the most recent Triton Main Event in Montenegro for $3.5 million.

The storylines worth following

Jason Koon’s 13th title chase. Koon arrives in Jeju as poker’s newest Hall of Famer, inducted as the sole member of the 2026 class after clearing the 22-vote threshold in his first year of eligibility. He is the Triton record-holder with 12 titles and more than $36 million won on the tour, and sits third on the all-time money list with $77,032,156. The 13th has proved stubborn — Dan Dvoress denied him in the $100,000 Short Deck at Jeju in March, and Richard Gryko took the $75,000 PLO event at Montenegro in May.

Dvoress and the Season 5 POY race. Dvoress surged to the top of the Triton Player of the Year standings after a dominant Montenegro, where he became the first player ever to win three events on a single Triton trip.

The 10th anniversary. Triton staged its first event in Manila in January 2016, founded by Paul Phua and Richard Yong. Across a decade the tour has processed 37,115 entries and awarded roughly $1.88 billion. The $150,000 10th Anniversary Special on September 16 is the commemorative event.

Structure: the shot clock and Triton Tempo

Triton’s clock rules are a defining feature of the tour and worth understanding before you watch.

Shot clock allowances per street:

  • 15 seconds pre-flop
  • 20 seconds on the flop
  • 25 seconds on the turn
  • 30 seconds on the river

Triton Tempo time banks: players who take their seats before the official start of an event receive 330 seconds in their time bank, or 300 seconds for turbo events. Additional time is injected when registration closes, at redraws, and on reaching final tables.

The effect is a faster, more decisive game than standard high roller structures, and it’s part of why Triton broadcasts watch better than most.

How to watch Triton Poker Jeju 2026

Triton’s coverage is free, and its production is widely regarded as the most sophisticated in poker.

Final tables and feature tables stream on Triton’s official YouTube channel, with cards-up coverage and commentary. The tour also operates the Triton Poker Plus app for schedules and results.

The two sessions to circle: the Invitational final on or after September 12 and the Main Event final table following the September 14 start. Check Triton’s official channels for exact stream times, as final table timings depend on how each day’s play runs.

Series partners for the festival are GTO Wizard and Jacob & Co.

What to expect from the field

Jeju has become Triton’s most productive venue. The 2025 stop set two records that still stand: the 285-entry $100,000 Main Event, and a $25,000 event that drew 391 entries — the largest field in Triton history.

The Asian recreational player pool is the reason. Jeju sits within easy reach of the Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Southeast Asian high-stakes communities, and Triton has spent years building relationships with exactly that group. Expect fields larger than the equivalent European stops.
