KPC Poker Series

The KPC Poker Series is one of the busiest live poker festivals in Asia. It’s held at LES A Casino inside Jeju Shinhwa World, South Korea. In late August 2026, two Jeju tournament brands, the K Poker Cup and the King Poker Cup, announced they were joining forces under the KPC Poker banner. Their first unified festival, KPC Poker Series October 2026, runs October 10–21.
The official schedule has 62 numbered events (#1–#62). Organisers have since added two more, #63 NLH/PLO Mixed (Oct 11) and #80 NLH Single Re-Entry (Oct 12), and there are daily satellites on top. Two Main Events headline the festival, with more than $2 million in combined guarantees.
This page covers the schedule, the live results, both Main Events, past champions, travel packages, and what you need to know before you fly to Jeju.

What Is KPC Poker?
KPC Poker is the brand that now covers both of LES A Casino’s in-house tournament series. “KPC” comes from the K Poker Cup, the older series that built a following among regional players with affordable buy-ins in Korean won. Some trade coverage, such as ASGAM, describes it as the “Korea Poker Cup Series”. The organisers now simply use KPC Poker as the umbrella name.
The King Poker Cup arrived in January 2026 as the high-stakes side of the venue. It charges buy-ins in US dollars, from $2,000 to $60,000, and is aimed at international high rollers.
Here is how the merger unfolded:
- January 2026: The K Poker Cup ran a joint festival with LPT, while the King Poker Cup debuted alongside it.
- July 25 to August 10, 2026: The K Poker Cup and King Poker Cup ran together but still as two separate brands.
- Late August 2026: The rebrand to a single KPC Poker tour was announced (PokerNews, August 29).
- October 10–21, 2026: The first festival under the unified KPC Poker name.
In practice, this means one schedule covering everything from ₩800,000 (about $600) Bankroll Builders to $60,000 super high rollers.

Tony Lin: The Player to Beat
No one has had a better 2026 in Jeju than Ren “Tony” Lin.
- January: won the inaugural King’s Main Event for $600,700.
- August: named King Poker Cup Player of the Series, with seven cashes. Those included a $10,000 NLH/PLO Mix title worth $134,540 and a $394,500 runner-up finish in the $30,000 Final Coronation. That run took his recorded live earnings past $20 million.
- October: has already won the 5M High Roller and is still alive in the $60K.
Why the Main Event Field Is Smaller Than January
At first glance, the October KPC Main Event’s 1,082 entries look like a big drop from January’s 2,030. The comparison isn’t like-for-like, though. January’s event was a joint KPC x LPT Main Event. It was promoted to two player pools at once, and it was the centrepiece of a combined festival that paid out about $13.9 million across 61 events. Its ₩2.28 billion prize pool reflects that extra reach.
October’s Main Event is a standalone KPC event, and it still beat its ₩880 million guarantee by about 38%. That makes it a healthy result rather than a decline.
| Event | January 2026 | August 2026 | October 2026 |
| $5,000 King’s Debut | 362 entries | 282 entries | 214 entries |
| ₩5M High Roller | 178 entries | — | 167 entries |
| ₩1.3M Main Event | 2,030 (joint KPC x LPT) | — | 1,082 (standalone KPC) |
The King’s Debut is the trend to watch. Its field has shrunk at each stop, probably because Jeju is now hosting high roller events almost every month, including the Triton series in September.

How to Play the KPC Poker Series
Getting There
LES A Casino is inside Jeju Shinhwa World at 38 Shinhwayeoksa-ro 304beon-gil, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si. According to Somuchpoker’s venue guide, it’s about 45 minutes by road from Jeju International Airport (CJU). The airport has frequent flights from Seoul and direct routes from several Asian cities.
Who Can Play
LES A Casino is a foreigner-only casino. Shin Hwa World’s own financial reporting, covered by GGRAsia, describes it as restricted to non-Korean nationals. The venue guide also lists entry as foreigners only, aged 19 and over, with a valid foreign passport.
Bring your passport to register. Entry rules for South Korea, including K-ETA and visa requirements, depend on your nationality, so check them with your nearest Korean embassy before you book flights.
Registration Tips
- Register early. Being seated before the start halves the admin fee on eligible events.
- Use satellites. Milestone and Stairs satellites start at ₩250,000 and are the cheapest way into the Main Events.
- Watch the currency. KPC-branded events are priced in KRW and King’s events in USD. Before you sit down, work out what a buy-in costs in your home currency.
- Set a trip bankroll. With buy-ins ranging from ₩250,000 to $60,000, it’s easy to drift up in stakes. Our poker bankroll calculator helps you set limits before you fly.
