€1M EPF Main Event Attracts Massive Field at King’s Resort Rozvadov

King’s Resort is renowned for hosting incredible live poker tournament festivals packed with value. One such festival, the European Poker Festival (EPF) Powered by Dutch Classics, has just concluded in Rozvadov.

The highlight of the EPF was, without doubt, the Main Event. It guaranteed €1 million in its prize pool despite only costing €299 to enter. By the time the final flight’s late registration period ended, 3,141 players had bought in, creating a massive field and generating one of the most talked-about events of the season.

With strong international participation and a deep structure, the event once again proved why King’s Resort remains one of Europe’s premier poker destinations.

“Kaizen” Wins €1M EPF Main Event

A German player going by the name of “Kaizen” came out on top of the bumper crowd and claimed the EPF Main Event title, securing a €88,000 payout after a three-way deal at the final table.

The original first-place prize stood at €103,000, but the final three players agreed to a deal to reduce pay jumps and lock in significant payouts.

The victory marked a breakthrough moment for “Kaizen,” who navigated one of the largest fields of the festival to capture the title and trophy.

Each of the nine finalists locked up a five-figure score from their €299 investment, highlighting the incredible value of the event.

Sweden’s “Ker” was the first finalist eliminated, finishing in ninth place for €11,425.

Polish grinder Marcin Matula exited in eighth place for €14,125, marking one of the biggest scores of his career and only his second five-figure cash.

German regular M. Fischer followed in seventh for €17,700, while Belgium’s “Mister Two” fell in sixth place, earning €22,400 after a strong deep run.

Deep Runs and Big Paydays

Fifth place went to Germany’s “Victor Vegas”, who secured €28,500, nearly 100 times the tournament buy-in. His deep run added another strong result to his growing poker record.

In fourth place, Israel’s Ben Yoram collected €36,500, significantly boosting his career earnings and marking one of his strongest live results to date.

Dutch player Stephen Dil finished third for €57,300 after agreeing to a deal. Before this event, Dil had only a few recorded live cashes, making this score a career-defining breakthrough.

Heads-Up Battle for the Title

The final duel came down to “Kaizen” (Germany) and Valentin Dumitra (Romania).

Dumitra, who has recorded most of his lifetime winnings at King’s Resort, came close to capturing the title but ultimately finished runner-up for €70,700, marking one of the biggest scores of his career.

With Dumitra’s exit, “Kaizen” was left as the last player standing, securing the championship trophy and the €88,000 top prize.

Action Continues at King’s Resort

While the European Poker Festival has concluded, the action at King’s Resort is far from over.

The Deutsche Poker Tour (DPT) is already underway, running from May 11–17, featuring a €175 buy-in Main Event with a €300,000 guarantee.

Following that, the France Poker Festival (FPF) takes over from May 18–25, bringing another massive €1 million guaranteed Main Event to Rozvadov.

With back-to-back festivals and huge guarantees, King’s Resort continues to solidify its reputation as one of the busiest and most value-packed poker destinations in Europe.
