Deuces Wild

Full pay 25/15/9/5/3/2 · return 100.76%
  • All four 2s are wild. They can stand in for any card, so Three of a Kind is the lowest paying hand.
  • Four deuces pay 200 per credit. With four deuces, always hold all four.
  • With two deuces, hold them and draw three, unless you already have a made hand such as a Straight Flush.

Joker Poker

Kings or Better · 20/7/5 · return 100.64%
  • One Joker is added to the deck (53 cards). It is wild and can stand in for any card.
  • A pair of Kings or Aces is the lowest paying hand. Keep the Joker almost every time.
  • A Royal Flush made with the Joker pays much less than a natural one.

Spin Poker

9/6 · reel spin · return 99.54%
  • Same hands and paytable as Jacks or Better 9/6, but the cards are reels that spin when they are dealt or replaced.
  • Hold the reels you like, then spin the rest once. Always keep a paying pair.
  • This free version uses one shuffled deck for the whole hand, so a card never shows up twice.

Multi-Hand Poker

3, 10 or 50 hands · 9/6 · return 99.54%
  • Pick 3, 10 or 50 hands. You choose holds once, on one hand.
  • Every hand keeps your held cards and draws its own new cards from a freshly shuffled deck of the other 47.
  • Your bet is the same on every hand, so 10 hands at 5 credits cost 50 credits. Strategy is the same as single-hand Jacks or Better.

Play Ultimate X Full rules

Deuces Wild and Joker Poker use wild cards: all four 2s in a 52-card deck, or one Joker added to make 53 cards. Spin Poker, Multi-Hand Poker and Ultimate X use the Jacks or Better 9/6 paytable and a 52-card deck. An Ace counts high or low in a straight. Only the highest-paying hand is paid, and replacement cards come from the same shuffled deck (in Multi-Hand and Ultimate X every hand draws from its own freshly shuffled deck). The Ultimate X multiplier table is a simple one used for this free version. Return figures are the commonly published values with perfect play, shown for learning only.

Free wild and multi-line video poker FAQ

Is this video poker really free?

Yes. You play with free credits, you start with 1,000 and you can refill them to 1,000 at any time. There is no sign-up, nothing to buy, and the credits have no cash value.

What does "wild" mean in Deuces Wild and Joker Poker?

A wild card can stand in for any other card to make the best possible hand. In Deuces Wild all four 2s are wild. In Joker Poker one Joker is added to the deck and it is wild. Wild cards make better hands more common, so the paytable pays less for the lower ones.

How does Multi-Hand Poker work?

You are dealt one hand and choose your holds once. Then every hand, 3, 10 or 50 of them, keeps those held cards and draws its own new cards from a freshly shuffled deck. Each hand pays on its own and your bet applies to every hand.

What are the Ultimate X multipliers?

Each winning hand earns a multiplier for the same hand on your next deal, and bigger hands earn bigger multipliers. The multiplier is used once. Playing costs double. Multiplier tables differ between real machines; this free version lists its table in the game card.

How does the Strategy Trainer work with wild cards?

For the hand you were dealt, the game works out the average payout of all 32 ways to hold cards, counting wild cards correctly, and finds the best one. HINT outlines the best cards before you draw, and with the trainer on it rates your hold after each draw.
