Brazil’s domestic online poker runs on a club and union model, not the cashier model international rooms use. There is no welcome bonus to claim and no promo code field waiting for you. What you negotiate instead is a rakeback percentage with an agent, and that number is worth far more over a year than any signup offer. Read this before anything else: in a club app, your money is held by an individual agent, not by a licensed operator. There is no central cashier, no compliance department and no regulator. Agents in Brazil are largely honest and the system has worked for years, but when it fails you have no recourse. Everything below assumes you understand that trade-off.

Cash tables run a bad beat jackpot funded by 0.2–1 BB from every 20 BB pot; triggering it means losing with at least aces full in Hold’em or quad jacks in Omaha. Rake varies by club and by game, so read the table description rather than assuming.

Brazil’s best-known poker brand and the closest thing the country has to a household name in the game. Its online arm moved into the Suprema app rather than running separate software, so playing H2 online means playing Suprema with an H2 club ID. Brazilian agents frequently run clubs across several of these simultaneously and will move you between apps chasing softer games or better traffic hours. That flexibility is real value, but it also means your funds may sit with the same agent across multiple platforms — concentrating your risk rather than spreading it. Ask which apps an agent covers before you commit, and keep balances separate where you can.
What replaces a bonus code
- The club ID gets you in the door. You download the app, search the club ID your agent gives you, and request to join. Approval is manual and can take hours. The ID is not a promo code and carries no value on its own.
- The agent ID links you to a deal. This is the part that actually pays. Your rakeback percentage is attached to the agent who registers you, and changing agents later is difficult — you generally have to leave the club and rejoin, sometimes losing standing in the process.
- Negotiate before you play, not after. Rakeback is a live negotiation in this system, unlike the fixed tiers international rooms publish. A player arriving with stated volume expectations gets a better number than one who has already been grinding at the default rate for three months. Ask for the deal in writing.
- Compare the rake, not just the rakeback. A 60% deal in a club charging 6% rake returns less than a 45% deal in a club charging 5% with a 3 BB cap. Agents quote the rakeback figure because it sounds bigger. Do the arithmetic on both.
- Progressive deals exist. Some unions raise your percentage as monthly volume climbs. If you play seriously, ask specifically whether the deal is flat or tiered, and at what thresholds it steps up.
Vetting an agent
- Ask for written terms. Rake percentage, rakeback percentage, payment window, withdrawal minimums, any fees. An agent who won’t put this in a message is telling you something.
- Test with a small withdrawal early. Deposit a modest amount, play briefly, and withdraw before you scale up. The first withdrawal is the real test of an agent, and finding out at R$200 is far better than at R$5,000.
- Keep your own records. Screenshot every deposit, withdrawal and rakeback payment. There is no account statement to fall back on and no support ticket system. Your records are the only records.
- Check how long the agent and union have operated. Longevity is the strongest available signal in a system with no licensing. Brazilian poker communities on Discord, Telegram and forums discuss agent reputation openly — search a name before you send money.
- Don’t let a balance sit idle. Money parked with an agent between sessions is exposed for no reason. Withdraw what you’re not actively using, even if the agent is one you trust.
- Match names on Pix transfers. Send from an account in your own name. Transfers through a third party are the most common cause of disputes that cannot be resolved afterwards.
Legal position: poker has been treated as a game of skill in Brazil since 1941 and sits outside Law 14.790, the betting law in force since January 2025. Playing is legal. The club apps operate in a space the law does not address rather than one it authorises, which is why no Brazilian regulator supervises them.
Poker income is still reportable to the Receita Federal under general income rules — the 15% net-prize tax under Law 14.790 applies to fixed-odds betting and fantasy sports, not to poker. Speak to a contador, since treatment depends on your volume and whether you play professionally.
