Two more champions have been crowned at the King’s Million European Poker Championship (EPC) at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. Israel’s Tsuf Saltsberg won the €3,000 PLO High Roller after a heads-up deal, and Sweden’s Vasilis Nikolas took down the huge €1,000 Mystery Bounty after a four-way deal. The biggest single payday, though, went to France’s Axel Bayout, who pulled the top €150,000 bounty envelope.
The three-week festival, which runs September 16 to October 6, now builds toward its headline event: the €1,150 Super Main Event with a €5 million guarantee, starting September 30.

The €3,000 PLO High Roller ran September 27–28 with a €500,000 guarantee. It drew 156 entries: 28 players survived Day 1, and another 60 entries arrived through late registration at the start of Day 2. The top 22 finishers were paid.
Because 156 entries at €3,000 total €468,000 even before any fees, the field fell short of the €500,000 guarantee, meaning the players benefited from an overlay.
A Comeback, a Deal and a Blind Flip
Saltsberg, an Israeli pro who has specialized in Omaha for a decade, played a patient final table focused on climbing the pay jumps. Heads-up, he faced Slovak chip leader Oliver Tot and came back from more than a four-to-one chip deficit.
The two then agreed to an ICM deal. Tot, still holding the chip lead, locked up the larger payout of €96,800, while Saltsberg took €87,000. They decided the trophy, the King’s Royal Scepter, with a blind all-in flip.
Saltsberg held K♦ K♣ 10♣ 7♥ and flopped a set of kings against Tot’s J♠ J♥ 7♠ 6♥, winning his first major live tournament trophy.

The Mystery Bounty drew 1,863 entries across eight starting flights. The €1,583,550 total prize pool was made up of a €1,024,650 main prize pool and a €558,900 bounty pool, comfortably beating the event’s €1.5 million guarantee.
Axel Bayout’s €150,000 Envelope
In a Mystery Bounty, each knockout earns a sealed envelope with a random cash prize. The envelopes were opened on Day 2, and France’s Axel Bayout drew the top prize of €150,000. He then went on to make the final table, finishing fourth for €89,280. With bounties included, he earned €242,880, the most of anyone in the tournament.
The Final Four Deal and a Two-Hand Heads-Up
With four players left and one €30,000 envelope still unclaimed, the finalists agreed to an ICM deal. Heads-up, Nikolas faced Italy’s Loris Biagio Greco, and it was over in just two hands.
Nikolas moved all in with A♠ K♥ and Greco called with 8♥ 8♣. The board ran 6♥ Q♠ Q♣ A♦ 6♦, giving Nikolas the title. He took home the trophy, €123,850 in prize money and €42,900 in bounties, including the final €30,000 envelope.

Players start with 50,000 chips, re-entry is allowed, and late registration runs until Level 10. The top 15% of the field gets paid, with a €2,300 minimum cash, and everyone who reaches Day 2 is in the money.
To hit €5 million, the Super Main Event needs a field of well over 4,000 entries, so it will be one of the biggest live tournaments in Europe this autumn if it gets there.
