The UK’s biggest WSOP Circuit stop is back in Nottingham, and it has moved earlier this year. Last season the festival ran from 14 to 24 November. This time it runs from 6 to 15 November, a day shorter, with one more ring event on the schedule. The Mini Main guarantee has also jumped from £150,000 to £250,000.

Maybe you’re thinking about making the trip, or you’re already at DTD wondering which flight to play. This guide covers the full schedule, the numbers behind the Main Event guarantee and what you actually pay in fees. It also covers the practical details that make a difference once you’re at the table.

Live Status: Where the Festival Stands Right Now

As of Saturday morning, the first two flights of the £300 Mini Main (Event #1) have been played. Official entry totals for Day 1A and Day 1B had not been published at the time of writing. Dusk Till Dawn and poker.pro are sharing live reporting duties, and full Main Event coverage starts with Day 1B on 11 November. The WSOP LIVE app is the quickest place to find live entry numbers.

Today, Saturday 7 November, Mini Main Day 1C starts at 12:00 and Day 1D at 17:00. Today also brings the first high-stakes event of the week, the £1,500 PLO High Roller (Event #2), at 13:00. Sunday is the big day. The Mini Main Last Chance turbo starts at 10:00 and its final day at 15:00, and the £1M Main Event opens with Day 1A at noon.

Every flight starts with a 50,000 stack, and players who register late still get the full stack. Each Day 1 flight plays down to about 15% of its field. That means anyone who makes it through Day 1 is already in the money. It’s a fairly tight structure, so expect a lot of all-ins in the last couple of hours of each Day 1.

How many entries does it take to reach the guarantee?

The promotional material doesn’t give you this calculation. £1,350 of each buy-in goes into the prize pool. However, Dusk Till Dawn’s terms also take 5% of each tournament prize pool for staff, marketing and operating costs. That leaves roughly £1,282 per entry for the players. At that rate, the Main Event needs about 780 entries to reach £1,000,000 without help.

Last year’s Main Event drew 845 entries and a £1,095,120 prize pool. If 2026 matches 2025, the event will pass its guarantee comfortably. If fewer than about 780 entries come in, DTD has to pay the difference, which is called an overlay. A big drop looks unlikely: there are two nights of large satellites, plus 30 extra Main Event seats from the Mini Main and the Mystery Bounty.

What you really pay

  • The £150 registration fee is 10% of the £1,500 buy-in.
  • On top of that, 5% is taken from the £1,350 that goes into the prize pool.
  • Together, about £218 of every £1,500 (14.5%) doesn’t come back to players as prize money. For the £300 events (£260 + £40), it’s about 17.7%.

That’s a normal rate for UK live poker. But if you plan to re-enter twice, budget £4,500, not “£1,500 plus a bit”.

How 2026 Compares With Previous Years

EditionBuy-inGuaranteeEntriesPrize poolWinner (prize)
2023£1,100£500,000439£500,000Matthew Gray (£100,000)

Nov 2026£1,500£1,000,000Not yet known (Day 1A is on 8 Nov)Not yet knownDecided on 15 Nov

Main Event entries rose by 92% from 2023 to 2025, even though the buy-in went up from £1,100 to £1,500. The Mini Main shows the same pattern. It drew 615 entries at £230 in March 2024 and 1,214 entries at £300 in November 2025. That’s why this year’s Mini Main guarantee has gone up by two-thirds, from £150,000 to £250,000. Each entry adds about £247 to the prize pool after deductions, so the Mini Main needs just over 1,000 entries. Last year it had 1,214.

Selected 2025 WSOPC UK ring results

These results give a good idea of the field sizes to expect in 2026.

£300 Seniors155£40,176Julian Thew£9,971
£300 PLO149£38,621Roni Tal£9,686

These results suggest two things about which events to play. First, the PLO High Roller drew only 58 entries, but its £75,168 prize pool was well over the £50,000 guarantee. With fewer than 60 players, it’s one of the shortest routes to a ring on the schedule if Omaha is your game. Second, the £300 side events usually draw 150–250 players. That’s a realistic field to win a ring if you can’t afford the Main Event buy-in. Adam Sandercock won two of them last year.

Extra Value: Seats, Bounties and Bahamas Packages

  • 30 extra Main Event seats. The Mini Main and the £560 Paradise Mystery Bounty each include 15 Main Event seats (worth £1,500 each) in their £250,000 guarantees. In the Mini Main, that’s £22,500 of the prize pool paid out as seats, so several finishers will win a seat rather than cash.
  • A $15,000 bounty envelope. One of the Mystery Bounty envelopes holds a $15,000 WSOP Paradise package. It includes a 10,400entrytotheGGMillion tournament and 13 nights’ accommodation.
  • $5,000 for every ring winner. All 13 champions get a $2,750 entry to the Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty, four nights at Baha Mar and buffet access. There are conditions. You can’t transfer a package or swap it for cash, and you must travel to the Bahamas in December to use it. Each player can win only one package.
  • Lucas Jumalon’s meet-up. The reigning WSOP Main Event champion is hosting a WSOP Academy game at DTD on 13 November. One player at that game will win a free Main Event seat.

How to Qualify Without Paying £1,500

Online: GGPoker’s £165 Mega Satellite on Monday 9 November guarantees 20 Main Event seats, worth about £30,000 in total. Smaller step and feeder satellites start from £0.01 if £165 is too much.

Live: Dusk Till Dawn runs Main Event satellites most evenings at 19:00. They cost £60–£120 and guarantee between 5 and 20 seats, depending on the night. Three of them suit the later Day 1 flights well: the £90 satellites on Tuesday and Wednesday (10 seats each) and the £120 satellite on Thursday (20 seats). Remember that you must use a satellite seat in the event it was won for. You can’t swap it for cash.

Practical Tips From the Rail

  • Sort out the app before you leave home. You can only register through a verified WSOP LIVE account. You don’t want to spend your first level verifying your ID at the venue on Day 1A.
  • Choose your flight on purpose. Day 1A on Sunday usually draws the biggest crowd of weekend players. Midweek flights tend to be smaller and full of regulars. The Saturday Last Chance is a turbo with 15-minute levels. Keep it as a last resort rather than your first attempt.
  • Remember that deals aren’t allowed. DTD’s terms say no deals are permitted at the festival. Every final table plays out to the published payouts. So base your final-table decisions on the real payout ladder, because nobody can split the money early.
  • Cash in, cash out. If you buy in with cash, you’re paid in cash. If you buy in with Luxon Pay, you’re paid back through Luxon.
  • Winnings are tax-free for UK players. In the UK, gambling winnings are not taxed for recreational players, and that includes poker tournament prizes. Players from other countries should check their own tax rules.
  • Getting there: take the tram to QMC, which is about a 10-minute walk away. You can also take a direct train to Nottingham from London, Manchester or Liverpool. East Midlands Airport is about 25 minutes away by taxi. MainEventTravel is the official hotel partner.

Our Verdict

In 2023, WSOPC UK was a spring stop with a £500K guarantee. It is now the centrepiece of the UK’s November poker calendar. For a £1,500 buy-in, you get a Main Event with five starting flights and a realistic chance of beating its guarantee. The Mini Main and the Mystery Bounty add 30 extra seats, and every ring comes with a Bahamas package.

If you can afford only one big buy-in this autumn, this is about the best value you’ll find in British live poker. If £1,500 is too much, the £300 side events, with fields of 150–250 players, give you a very real chance of winning a WSOP ring of your own.
