The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to Caesars New Orleans from November 12 to 23, 2026. It’s the second WSOP Circuit stop in New Orleans this year, after the spring series in May, and one of the last US stops before the 2026 season finishes at WSOP Paradise in December.
Here’s everything confirmed so far: dates, venue, Main Event buy-in, how the spring stop went, and what to expect from the ring events.
Schedule status: WSOP hasn’t published the full event schedule yet. This page will be updated with every ring event, buy-in and guarantee once it’s released.

Important: Don’t Confuse These Dates
• Correct dates: Caesars New Orleans Fall 2026 runs November 12–23, according to WSOP.com and PokerAtlas.
• Some travel listings show November 20–30. Those are the dates of the WSOP Circuit Casino Sanremo stop in Italy, not New Orleans.
• New Orleans also hosted a spring WSOP Circuit stop on May 14–25, 2026. Make sure you’re looking at the fall event.
How the Spring 2026 New Orleans Stop Went
The May series gives a good benchmark for what to expect in November.
| Spring 2026 Main Event | Result |
| Dates | May 21–25, 2026 |
| Buy-in | $1,700 |
| Entries | 420 |
| Prize pool | $576,955 |

What this means for the fall: A field of around 400 to 450 entries would put the fall Main Event in line with spring. Fall stops can draw differently from spring ones, because they don’t fall just before the summer WSOP, when many players are building bankrolls for Las Vegas.
How New Orleans Compares With Other 2026 Circuit Stops
| 2026 Circuit Main Event ($1,700) | Entries | Prize pool | Champion | First prize |

| Illinois | 593 | $898,395 | Grant Juric | $167,608 |
| Oklahoma | 478 | $724,170 | Robert Shuptrine | $142,758 |
| Tunica | 433 | $655,995 | David Yount | $132,570 |
| New Orleans (spring) | 420 | $576,955 | Corey Harrison | $122,221 |
| Baltimore | 413 | $625,695 | Christopher Selami | $128,100 |

New Orleans sits in the middle of the pack. That’s good news for players: fields are big enough for a solid prize pool, but far smaller than a New York-sized event, so a deep run is more realistic.
Ring Events: What to Expect
The full fall schedule isn’t out yet. Based on how WSOP Circuit stops are usually structured, players can expect:
• A series of ring events across the 12 days, mostly No-Limit Hold’em, often with some Pot-Limit Omaha and other formats.
• A range of buy-ins below the Main Event, which makes rings reachable for recreational players.
• The $1,700 Main Event near the end of the series, with multiple Day 1 flights.
• Satellites into the Main Event and bigger ring events.
Every ring event winner receives a gold WSOP Circuit ring. For 2026, WSOP also introduced a $5,000 package for ring winners, as reported when the season was announced. Check the official terms for which events qualify.

We’ll fill in this table as soon as WSOP publishes the schedule. Check back around late October.
Why Play the New Orleans Fall Stop?
• One of the last US stops of 2026. It’s a final chance to collect rings before the season wraps up at WSOP Paradise.
• The 2026 season format. The Circuit now runs from January to December, so every 2026 ring counts toward this year’s season.
• Manageable field sizes. Spring’s 420-entry Main Event offered a $122,221 first prize. That’s a strong return for a $1,700 buy-in.
• A tested venue. Caesars New Orleans runs regular tournaments and hosted the 13-event RGPS Golden Expedition series in September 2026.
• The city itself. The casino is downtown on Poydras Street, close to the French Quarter, so it’s easy to combine poker with a trip.
Travel Tips for Players
| Tip | Detail |
| When to arrive | If you’re playing the Main Event, plan for the final days of the series. Confirm the dates once the schedule is published. |
| Where to stay | Caesars New Orleans has an on-site hotel. Book early for Main Event weekends. |
| Getting there | New Orleans’ Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) is the main airport. |
| Thanksgiving | Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26, three days after the series ends. Flights and hotels around that week may cost more. |
| Registration | Check WSOP.com and the venue’s poker room for registration options and any app-based registration before you travel. |
Bankroll Tips for a Circuit Stop
• Pick your events in advance. Twelve days of tournaments can drain a bankroll quickly.
• Use satellites for the $1,700 Main Event if it’s above your normal buy-in level.
• Don’t fire too many bullets. Set a re-entry limit for each event before you play.
• Budget for travel and accommodation as part of the cost of the trip.
FAQs
Can players qualify for the Main Event through satellites?
Yes. WSOP Circuit stops typically offer satellites that can provide a lower-cost route into the $1,700 Main Event. Check the final schedule for specific satellite dates and buy-ins.
How many ring events will be held in New Orleans?
The exact number has not been announced yet. WSOP is expected to publish the complete ring-event schedule closer to the November series.
What poker formats are expected at the New Orleans Circuit stop?
No-Limit Hold’em is expected to make up most of the schedule, with Pot-Limit Omaha and other poker formats potentially included. The final mix will be confirmed when WSOP releases the schedule.
Can recreational players play WSOP Circuit events?
Yes. WSOP Circuit events are open to eligible players who meet the registration requirements and buy-in for the event. Lower-buy-in ring events and satellites can provide more affordable options.
When should players book travel for the New Orleans series?
Players should wait for the official tournament schedule before finalizing their dates. Those targeting the Main Event should consider arriving early enough to account for registration, satellites and multiple Day 1 flights.
