There’s a new name on the Asian poker calendar. Infinity Poker, a tour that didn’t exist a few months ago, has announced its very first festival, and it has chosen one of the region’s best-known venues to launch it.
The Infinity Poker Incheon 2027 series runs from March 5 to 14, 2027, at Paradise City in Incheon, South Korea. The headline event is a KRW 1.5 million Main Event (about $1,100) with a KRW 600 million guarantee, roughly $450,000. Across the whole festival, Infinity Poker is guaranteeing KRW 800 million, a little under $600,000.

Why Another Festival in South Korea?
If it feels like South Korea has a poker festival every other week right now, you’re not imagining it. The country has quickly become one of Asia’s busiest tournament destinations.
The Asian Poker Tour was at Paradise City this August with a KRW 1.5 billion Main Event guarantee. The World Poker Tour is about to make its own debut at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort from October 30 to November 9, with a KRW 1 billion Championship Event.
Infinity Poker is stepping into a crowded field. Its pitch is simple: it wants to be the festival players put back on their calendar after their first visit, not just a one-off stop.
The Main Event: KRW 600 Million Guaranteed
The Main Event is the centrepiece of the series. It costs KRW 1,500,000 to enter, and every player starts with 40,000 chips.
Main Event Schedule
There are seven starting flights over three days, followed by Day 2 and the final table:
| Date | Flight | Start time |
| March 10 | Day 1A | 11:00 |
| March 10 | Day 1B | 17:00 |
| March 11 | Day 1C | 11:00 |
| March 11 | Day 1D | 16:00 |
| March 12 | Day 1E | 11:00 |
| March 12 | Day 1F | 16:00 |
| March 12 | Day 1G (Turbo, final flight) | 20:00 |
| March 13 | Day 2 (all flights combine) | 11:00 |
| March 14 | Final Table | 11:00 |
If you survive more than one flight, only your largest bag moves forward to Day 2.
How to Qualify for Less
You don’t have to pay the full KRW 1.5 million to play. Main Event satellites cost KRW 365,000 and run several times a day from March 9 to March 12.
There are also two “Flip” satellites, on the night of March 12 and the morning of March 13. These are 1-in-7 shootouts: seven players put in KRW 1.5 million worth of value, and one walks away with a Main Event seat. It’s fast, it’s a gamble, and it’s a lot of fun to watch.
The Mini Main Event: A Fresh Format
The Mini Main might be the most interesting event on the whole schedule. It costs KRW 450,000 (around $330) and carries a KRW 150 million guarantee, which is a big prize pool for a buy-in that size.
What makes it different is how players get paid.
Same-Day Cash, Then a Shot at the Big Prize
Each Mini Main flight has two milestones:
- Finish in the top 15% of your flight: You get KRW 900,000, double your buy-in, paid that same night.
- Finish in the top 5%: You keep that KRW 900,000 and advance to Day 2 with your stack to play for the rest of the prize pool.
So in a flight of 100 players, 15 people get paid that night, and 5 of them move on to Day 2. Roughly one-third of the total guarantee is set aside for these same-day payouts, and the other two-thirds makes up the Day 2 prize pool.
11 Flights to Choose From
There are 11 starting flights between March 5 and March 13, mostly in the evening, so you can play another event during the day and still jump into a Mini Main flight at night. Every player starts with 30,000 chips.
You can enter as many flights as you like and collect a payout each time you cash. But if you qualify for Day 2 more than once, only your biggest stack counts. Day 2 plays on March 14, and every player who makes it is already in the money.
Other Key Events Worth Knowing
SoMuchPoker Championship (Opening Event)
The festival opens with the first-ever SoMuchPoker Championship on March 5. It costs KRW 600,000 with a KRW 50 million guarantee, has three Day 1 flights (including a turbo), and finishes on March 6. That makes it one of the first trophies up for grabs.
Master of the Mindset Mystery Bounty
This KRW 600,000 event runs five flights from March 7 to 8, with the final day on March 9. Every knockout earns a mystery bounty envelope, which is part of what makes these events so popular. Each envelope is worth at least KRW 200,000.
Deep Stack and Ultra Stack
- Deep Stack: KRW 600,000, 30,000 chips, three flights on March 6, final day March 7.
- Ultra Stack: KRW 700,000, a huge 100,000-chip starting stack, three flights on March 9, final day March 10.
High Roller Events
For players with a bigger bankroll, there’s a steady run of high rollers:
| Event | Buy-in | Date |
| Mini High Roller | KRW 1,750,000 | March 6 |
| High Roller Warm-Up (single day) | KRW 2,750,000 | March 7 |
| High Roller (single day) | KRW 2,750,000 | March 8 |
| High Roller 8-Max | KRW 3,500,000 | March 9 |
| PLO 5-Card Championship High Roller | KRW 2,200,000 | March 10 |
| Super High Roller | KRW 5,000,000 | March 11–12 |
| PLO 4-Card Championship High Roller | KRW 2,000,000 | March 12 |
| High Roller 6-Max (single day) | KRW 3,500,000 | March 13 |
| High Roller Freezeout Last Chance | KRW 3,500,000 | March 14 |
The KRW 5 million Super High Roller is the biggest buy-in of the festival.
Something Different: Omaha, Mixed Games and Fun Formats
Infinity Poker clearly wants this festival to be more than just Hold’em. The schedule is packed with variety:
- Omaha events: 4-card, 5-card and 6-card PLO, Omaha Hi-Lo, Big O and a PLO Knockout Bounty
- Mixed games: a 9-game mix, 7-Card Stud and Razz, and a Triple Draw mix
- Short Deck, played with a 36-card deck
- Home-game style events: Crazy Pineapple, Atomic Pineapple, Super Hold’em with three hole cards, and Double Board Bomb Pots
- Novelty formats: All-In or Fold, Win the Button, and a 64-player Heads-Up event played best of three
There are also a few themed events, including a Queen’s Event on March 11, an NLH Incheon Champion event on March 13, and an Indian Superheroes freezeout on the final day.
The series wraps up on March 14 with a Closing Monster Stack (100,000 chips) and a No Mercy Freezeout.

Partners and Official Host
Infinity Poker is working with Paradise City and Pokerfors on its Incheon debut. Somuchpoker is the official media partner, Luxon Pay is the payment partner, and Master of the Mindset is also on board.

Travel Tips for Paradise City
Getting There
Paradise City is one of Korea’s largest integrated resorts, and it sits just minutes from Incheon International Airport. There’s a free shuttle between the airport and the resort, which makes it one of the easiest poker venues in Asia to reach.
Address: 186 Yeongjonghaeannam-ro 321beon-gil, Jung-gu, Incheon.
Where to Stay
Infinity Poker lists three nearby hotels:
- Paradise Hotel (on-site)
- Grand Hyatt Incheon
- Best Western Hotel Incheon
Important: Foreign Players Only
Paradise City’s casino is open to foreign visitors only. South Korean citizens generally aren’t allowed to gamble there under local law, so this is very much a festival built for international players. Bring your passport.
What’s Next After Incheon?
Incheon is only the beginning. Infinity Poker has already announced its second stop: Infinity Poker Manila, August 20–29, 2027, with the venue still to be confirmed. Earlier reports mentioned three festivals across Asia in 2027, so another stop may still be announced.
Online qualifiers are on the way too. Infinity Poker says its “Road to Infinity” online satellite schedule will be released soon.
Final Thoughts
A first festival always comes with a few question marks, especially around turnout. But Infinity Poker has done a lot right on paper: a big Main Event guarantee, a smart Mini Main format that pays players the same night, a schedule full of variety, and a venue that’s easy to reach.
If you’re planning a poker trip to Asia in early 2027, March 5–14 in Incheon is worth putting on your calendar.
