King’s WSOP Super Circuit 2026: Nicholas Scott and Fabian Bartuschk Win the First Two Rings in Rozvadov

On this page
The first-ever WSOP Super Circuit at King’s Resort is underway, and the opening day has already produced two champions. American Nicholas Scott won the €500 Super Circuit Kick-off for €21,200. Germany’s Fabian Bartuschk took the €1,000 Bounty PLO for €18,900 plus bounties, adding a fourth WSOP Circuit gold ring to his collection.
Neither event reached its €100,000 guarantee. That sounds like bad news, but for the players who showed up it was the best thing that could have happened. We explain why below.

This is the first Super Circuit-branded stop in Rozvadov. King’s hosted WSOP Europe from 2017 to 2025, until that festival moved on. The Super Circuit brings WSOP gold rings back to Europe’s biggest poker room.

Ring Event #1: €500 Super Circuit Kick-off
Winner: Nicholas Scott (USA), €21,200
The festival opened on Wednesday with a classic low buy-in starter: 25,000 starting chips and 30-minute levels. It drew 160 entries, short of the 200 needed to cover the €100,000 guarantee. The prize pool was set at €85,000, the guarantee minus the 15% fee, and paid the top 24 finishers.
Scott beat Germany’s Hauke Nettkau heads-up for the title.

By the Numbers
- 15% of the field cashed (24 of 160).
- The minimum cash of €1,290 was 2.6 times the buy-in.
- Scott’s €21,200 was 42 times his buy-in and almost exactly 25% of the prize pool.
- Germany dominated, with 9 of the 24 cashes, including runner-up Nettkau. Rozvadov sits right on the German border, so this is no surprise.
- The 24 places paid add up to exactly €85,000.

Ring Event #2: €1,000 Bounty PLO
Winner: Fabian Bartuschk (Germany), €18,900 plus bounties
The PLO bounty event had the same €100,000 guarantee and attracted 80 entries. After the 15% fee, €85,000 went to players: €20,000 to bounties and €65,000 to the regular prize pool.
The bubble burst on a double elimination. As a result, 13 players cashed instead of 12, with the last two splitting the €2,060 minimum cash, €1,030 each.
Bartuschk beat Italy’s Filippo Ragone heads-up for his fourth WSOP Circuit ring, making him one of the more decorated Circuit players in the field.
Final Results
| Place | Player | Country | Prize |
| 1 | Fabian Bartuschk | Germany | €18,900 |
| 2 | Filippo Ragone | Italy | €12,020 |
| 3 | Anthony Mathias | United Kingdom | €8,020 |
| 4 | Bjorn Verbakel | Netherlands | €5,610 |
| 5 | Markus Anheier | Germany | €4,120 |

| 7 | Martin Sladek | Czechia | €2,610 |

| 11 | Miroslav Zitka | Czechia | €2,060 |
| 12 | Tim Wasser | Netherlands | €1,030 |
| 13 | Fabian Rolli | Switzerland | €1,030 |
The final table had seven different nationalities. That shows how international PLO fields have become in Rozvadov, even at mid-stakes buy-ins.
Why Missing the Guarantee Was Great for Players
Most reports will tell you these two events “missed their guarantees.” That’s true, but it misses the real story. Here is our own math, based on the published entries and prize pools.
| Event #1: Kick-off | Event #2: Bounty PLO | |
| Entries | 160 | 80 |
| Buy-ins collected | €80,000 | €80,000 |
| Net after 15% fee | €68,000 | €68,000 |
| Actual prize pool | €85,000 | €85,000 |
| Overlay (house money) | €17,000 | €17,000 |
| Extra value per player | ~€106 | ~€213 |
In both events, King’s paid in €17,000 more than the players’ net contributions. Players in the Kick-off received 25% more in prize money than they put in after fees. The same was true in the PLO bounty.
The practical takeaway: when a guaranteed event looks unlikely to fill, especially an early-week starter, it is often one of the best-value tournaments of the whole festival. Experienced players watch registration numbers on the WSOP Live app for exactly this reason.

Tips If You’re Heading to Rozvadov
- Download the WSOP Live app before you arrive. Registration, seating and live counts all run through it.
- Check entry counts before you register. Smaller early-week events are where overlays are most likely, as Day 1 showed.
- Use satellites. A €150–€200 satellite can win you a €1,000 or €3,000 seat. At King’s, satellites often run with guarantees of their own.
- Plan around flights. The Mini Main and the Main Event both have multiple Day 1s. Choose the flight that fits your travel, rather than burning re-entries.
- Budget for re-entries. All of the big guaranteed events allow unlimited re-entry. Set a hard limit before you sit down.
