Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma is one of the WSOP Circuit’s most frequent and reliable hosts, and this fall’s stop — running October 28 through November 9, 2026 — is the tour’s biggest visit to the Sooner State this year. The series is confirmed on the official WSOP schedule and sits right in the middle of a busy Circuit stretch that also includes stops in Toledo, Kahnawake, Scottsdale, and Elgin over the same few weeks.

The full 18-event schedule

WSOP.com has published the complete event-by-event lineup for this stop. Eighteen ring events run across the twelve days, with buy-ins from $300 up to the $1,700 Main Event, and several bracket events — the Gargantuan, the Mini Main, and the Main Event itself — spread across multiple starting flights.

Why Choctaw matters on the Circuit

Beyond the prize money, every WSOP Circuit ring winner at Choctaw has historically earned a package to the WSOP Circuit Championship — recent editions have included entry plus a hotel package to attend the Championship at WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas. That makes Choctaw a meaningful stop even outside the Main Event: a single ring win in one of the smaller buy-in events can be a ticket to a much bigger stage later in the year.

Recent Choctaw history

Alex Cruz has been one of the venue’s standout recent winners, taking down the $1,700 Main Event in July 2025 for $241,412 after outlasting a field of nearly 1,000 entries — one of the largest Choctaw Main Event turnouts in recent memory. Cruz’s win also made him the first player to claim a WSOP bracelet via a Circuit National Championship title that season.

Who Choctaw is built for

With buy-ins spanning from $300 up to $1,700, Choctaw’s Circuit stop is designed for volume — it’s a series built around accessible entry points and large fields rather than high-roller exclusivity. For grinders in the central US, it’s typically one of the more convenient chances each year to chase a Circuit ring and a shot at a six-figure Main Event score without traveling to a coastal hub.
