If you’ve been waiting for the right month to book a poker trip, November 2026 might be it. The summer bracelet rush is long over, the December mega-festivals haven’t started yet, and in between sits one of the busiest stretches on the calendar: the Asian Poker Tour‘s 20th-anniversary Championship in Taipei, back-to-back Triton festivals in North Cyprus, more than ten WSOP Circuit stops across four continents, and the opening days of the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas.
That’s a lot of choice, and a lot of ways to waste money if you pick the wrong event for your bankroll. So rather than just listing dates, this guide tells you what each series actually offers, who it suits, and how to get there for less than full price.
Quick answer:
- Biggest open festival: the APT Championship in Taipei (Nov 13–29), with more than $8.1M guaranteed.
- For high rollers: Triton in North Cyprus (Nov 5–30).
- For budget players: WSOP Circuit stops (1,100–1,700 Main Events) and the $600 / $300K GTD event at the Venetian.

The Big Four: Where the Real Money Is
1. APT Championship 2026 — Taipei (Nov 13–29)
This is the one to watch. Last November, the first-ever APT Championship drew 28,265 entries and paid out more than $34 million, making it the largest poker festival Asia had ever seen. For the tour’s 20th birthday, the 2026 edition has 210 trophy events and over $8.1 million in guarantees, spread across two Taipei venues: Red Space and the Asia Poker Arena.
The $5 million guaranteed Main Event runs November 23–27. Last year’s guarantee was beaten by more than $1.2 million, and India’s Nishant Sharma took home roughly $1.2 million, the largest Main Event payout in APT history.
New additions this year:
- PLO High Roller: about $4,700, on November 18–19
- Single-day High Roller: $10,000, on November 19
- Ultra Stack Championship: November 25–26
Who it suits: almost everyone. The trophy-event structure means you can play dozens of affordable events in one trip, and Taipei is one of the cheaper major poker cities for hotels and food.
2. Triton ONE & Super High Roller Series — North Cyprus (Nov 5–30)
Triton closes its 10th-anniversary season with two festivals back to back at the Merit resort complex.
Triton ONE, the tour’s more accessible line, runs November 5–15. Its Main Event flights are on November 10, 11 and 12, with the final day on the 15th. Based on the satellite packages sold for it, the Main Event buy-in is around €6,900.
The Super High Roller Series then takes over from November 15 to 30. Buy-ins start at $15,000 and go far beyond that.
Who it suits: Triton ONE is a realistic shot for a strong mid-stakes player with backing or a satellite seat. The Super High Roller Series is mostly a rail-and-learn event for the rest of us. Its free streams are some of the best high-stakes poker content you can watch.
3. WSOP Circuit — Gold Rings on Four Continents
2026 is the first year the WSOP Circuit runs on a calendar-year season, so November is the final push before the year closes. You can chase a gold ring in Canada, Argentina, Panama, Belgium, England, Italy, the Czech Republic and several US states without ever playing a $10K event. Most fall Circuit Main Events cost between $1,100 and $1,700.
The practical edge here is field quality. Circuit stops draw heavily from local recreational players, so the average opponent is softer than what you’d face in a Las Vegas summer event at the same price.
4. WPT in November — Seoul, the Venetian and the Wynn Kick-off
- WPT Seoul at Inspire Resort wraps up on November 9. It has 46 events over 11 days, headlined by a KRW 1.75 million Championship with a KRW 1 billion guarantee.
- WPT Fall Festival at the Venetian in Las Vegas offers nearly $4 million in guarantees through November 15. That includes a $600 No-Limit Hold’em with a $300,000 guarantee, with starting flights on November 12–14.
- WPT World Championship festival opens at Wynn Las Vegas on November 27, its fifth year there, with 85+ events and more than $20 million in guarantees.
- The first weekend includes a $600 No-Limit Hold’em with a $400,000 guarantee.
- The $10,400 Main Event follows on December 13, with $1 million in mystery bounties added.
Online Poker Tournaments in November 2026
Not everyone can fly to Taipei. Online, the main November action looks like this:
- APT Online on GGPoker runs until November 2. Its $40 million guaranteed schedule peaks on November 1, when the $5M GTD Main Event and a $1M GTD Super High Roller run on the same day.
- GGPoker Black Friday Week has run in late November for several years. In 2025 it covered November 24 to December 1, with about 90 tournaments discounted by 25–90% while their guarantees stayed the same. The 2026 dates hadn’t been published at the time of writing, so check the GGPoker promotions page in mid-November.
- Live-event satellites run all month for WSOP Paradise, the WPT World Championship and WSOP Circuit stops.
Time-zone tip: Most global sites list start times in UTC. A 17:00 UTC event starts at:
- 22:30 in India (IST)
- 01:00 the next day in Taipei and Manila
- 12:00 noon in New York (EST)
Plan your sleep before you register for a two-day event.
Which November Tournament Fits Your Bankroll?
A common rule for live tournament players is to keep at least 50–100 buy-ins for the level you play regularly. Anything above that is a “shot,” and shots are best funded through satellites or by selling a share of your action.
- Under $100 (online): GGPoker Black Friday Week and satellites. You get big guarantees at discounted buy-ins.
- $300 – $700: the WPT Fall Festival $600 / $300K GTD event, Circuit side events and APTC trophy events. These have large, recreational-heavy fields with deep guarantees.
- $1,100 – $1,700: WSOP Circuit Main Events and the APTC Main Event. You play for a gold ring or trophy, with solid prize pools and softer fields than Vegas.
- $5,000 – $10,000: the Triton ONE Main Event and the APTC $10K High Roller. You get an elite atmosphere at a fraction of super high roller prices.
- $15,000+: the Triton Super High Roller Series. These are the toughest fields in poker, for pros and well-backed players.
Practical Tips Before You Book
Do the guarantee math
Divide the guarantee by the buy-in (minus rake) to get the rough number of entries needed to cover it. The Venetian’s $600 / $300K event needs around 500 or more entries.
When a field falls short, the house pays the gap. That gap is called an overlay, and it’s free equity for everyone in the field. It does happen: WPT Cambodia’s main event earlier this year drew 425 entries and missed its $1.5 million guarantee.
Satellite in, don’t buy in
There are cheaper routes into most of the big November events:
- WSOP Circuit: the official schedule marks several November stops with online tickets and ClubGG or GGPoker qualifiers.
- Triton ONE: iPoker network rooms such as RedStar Poker gave away €9,000 packages through October.
- WPT World Championship: WPT runs $1,100 Milestone satellites, each awarding 25 seats to the $10,400 Main Event.
Turning a $1,100 entry into a $10,400 seat is the cheapest way to play a big Main Event.
Use late registration wisely
Most multi-flight Main Events allow late entry for several hours. Arriving late saves energy and time at the table, but you start with fewer big blinds relative to the level. If you’re a newer player, start on time. Deep stacks give you more room to learn without being forced into all-ins.
Check travel rules early
Visa rules for Taiwan, Korea and North Cyprus differ a lot depending on your passport. Sort documents at least a month out, and book hotels through festival partner rates where available. The Wynn, for example, offers preferred rates to registered WPT players.
Looking Ahead: December 2026
November is also the last month to qualify cheaply for December’s two giants:
- WSOP Paradise moves to Baha Mar in the Bahamas from December 2–17. It has 20 bracelet events and $120 million guaranteed, led by a $25,000 Super Main Event with a $50 million guarantee (which needs 2,000 entries to cover).
- WPT World Championship Main Event at the Wynn runs December 13–20.
If either is on your list, November satellites are where your path starts.
