How PokerClubGames decides what to publish, how it scores poker sites, and what happens when we get something wrong.
Our principles
- Readers come first. We write what helps a reader decide or learn, not what pays best.
- Money does not buy coverage, ratings or rankings. Advertisers, sponsors and affiliate partners cannot pay for a positive review.
- Paid content is always labelled, at the top of the article, and paid links are tagged rel="sponsored".
- We name the author of each article and review and show when it was last updated.

Poker site reviews and ratings
Each review records the same facts where they are known: licence, owner, software, supported devices, deposit and withdrawal methods, currencies, languages, year established and the countries where the site is not available. The review then scores the site out of 5 in four categories:
- Trust: licensing, ownership and how open the operator is about its terms.
- Bonus: the value and the clarity of the offers, including the conditions attached.
- Support: how easy it is to get help and how useful the help is.
- Games: the range and quality of the poker games and tables.
The overall rating is our editors' score out of 5 for the site, shown beside the four category scores. It is one number, used the same way on the review, in lists and in search results. A site with no rating has not been scored yet. Reviews with pros and cons list them as the editors see them.
Poker apps are reviewed the same way, one app at a time. A round-up of several apps is not given a rating of its own.
Bonuses and offers
Every bonus page shows the date the offer was last verified on the operator's site. Offers change without notice, so check the operator's own terms before you deposit.
News and guides
News items say where they come from when there is a source. Guides and strategy articles show their author and update date. Hand-written opinion is presented as opinion.
Independence and conflicts of interest
We can earn from the operators we review, through affiliate commission, and from advertisers. We say so on the page. Payment cannot guarantee a positive review, and a company cannot buy a better rating or a higher place in a list. If we are given a free product or benefit connected to a review, we disclose it there.
Corrections
If you think something we published is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact page with the page address and what is wrong. We check it, fix confirmed factual errors, and update the date shown on the page. If a mistake changes the meaning of an article or a rating, we say what changed.
Responsible gambling
