How the GGMillion$ Final Table Played Out
Juan Pardo (playing as Juan Dominguez) started as chip leader, and every player had at least $50,545 locked up.
9th–7th: Quick early eliminations
- Y Damboruski (9th, $50,545) was the first to go when his pocket eights ran into David Kaufmann’s pocket kings.
- Juho Suutari (8th, $65,549) lost his pocket sixes to the chip leader’s pocket eights. The board ran K♦5♥5♠10♦7♦.
- Artur Martirosian (7th, $85,006) couldn’t win with K♥7♥ against Osmirko Artem’s pocket nines.
6th–5th: The chip leader keeps rolling
- “Unelmavavy” (6th, $110,240) went out with A♣4♣ against the chip leader’s A♠K♠.
- In an all-German clash, Sebastian Gähl (5th, $142,963) shoved A♦10♠ and ran into David Kaufmann’s Q♦J♣. The J♠10♦J♦3♣9♥ board gave Kaufmann trips.
4th–3rd: Minko battles back
Minko briefly grabbed the chip lead before Pardo pulled clear again. Minko stayed close, though, and knocked out Osmirko Artem (4th, $185,401) in an ace-jack vs ace-queen clash that went his way.
David Kaufmann (3rd, $240,435), the best-placed German, was eliminated when his pocket tens lost to Pardo’s J♠9♣. The A♥6♦J♣A♠J♦ board gave Pardo a full house.
Comeback moment: three-handed, Minko had dropped to just 8 big blinds. He doubled up through Pardo, and that double-up turned the tournament around.
Heads-up: Over in a flash
Pardo started heads-up with a small lead but lost it almost immediately.
Minko then moved all in with A♠3♦, and Pardo called with J♠10♠. The board ran 4♦K♠K♦4♥Q♠, giving both players two pair, kings and fours. Minko’s ace kicker played and won the pot.
Vladimir Minko claimed his second GGMillion$ title and $404,362. Pardo took home $311,806 for second.
