The $2,000,000 GTD WPT Venetian Fall Championship

The centerpiece of the festival is the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Fall Championship, a $5,000 buy-in event running November 5–10, 2026, carrying a $2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The winner will be crowned a WPT Champion and earn a place on the prestigious Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.

The Championship final table will be livestreamed from The Venetian Poker Room’s brand-new, state-of-the-art streaming setup — meaning fans and satellite qualifiers alike will be able to follow the action as it happens, a step up in production from prior Venetian stops.

Why The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

This marks WPT’s second major championship stop at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas in 2026, following a well-received spring edition. “The success of the spring championship reaffirmed what makes The Venetian Resort a premier destination for tournament poker,” said Tommy LaRosa, Director of Poker Operations at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. “We’re proud to once again partner with the World Poker Tour to bring players a championship-caliber experience, highlighted by a $2 million guarantee, exceptional amenities, and the opportunity to compete for one of poker’s most prestigious titles.”

WPT CEO Adam Pliska echoed the sentiment: “Players embraced the return of the WPT to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas earlier this year, and we are pleased to bring another championship event to such an outstanding venue. Our partnership with The Venetian Resort continues to produce events that players look forward to.”

What Happened Last Time: WPT Venetian Spring Championship Results

The fall edition follows directly on from the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Spring Championship, held earlier in 2026, which gives a strong indicator of what to expect this November.

Schedule Status: What’s Confirmed vs. Still to Come

As of this writing (September 2026), WPT has confirmed the festival dates, the Championship dates, buy-in, and guarantee — but the full day-by-day side event schedule has not yet been published. Here’s what’s known so far:

Confirmed:

  • Festival window: October 28 – November 15, 2026
  • Championship: $5,000 buy-in, November 5–10, $2,000,000 GTD

WPT has said this information, along with satellite opportunities and hotel rates, will be posted on WPT.com as the festival approaches. Players planning a trip should check the official schedule page closer to late October for exact side-event details.

How to Qualify: ClubWPT Passport Satellites

The $6,500 WPT Venetian Championship Passport Qualifier awards the winner a $5,000 buy-in seat to the Fall Championship, plus $1,500 cash for travel and hotel expenses. Remaining final table finishers (3rd–9th place) split an additional $500 cash pool.

Since WPT Global doesn’t operate in the United States, ClubWPT and land-based satellites are the primary online qualification routes for this event.
