ARIA Poker Open 2026: Three Weeks of Tournament Action Featuring BetMGM Championship Week

Every December, ARIA Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip hosts the ARIA Poker Open, one of the highlights of the casino’s year-round live poker schedule. The series combines popular No-Limit Hold’em tournaments with Omaha and mixed-game events. This year’s edition runs from November 29 to December 20, 2026. The high point is BetMGM Championship Week from December 16 to 19, which centers on the $1,100 BetMGM NLH Championship with a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The 2026 series opens on Sunday, November 29, with a $600 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament and a $250 No-Limit Hold’em event. In the days after, $600 NLH and PLO tournaments take turns on the daytime schedule, and a $250 NLH event runs every evening. Guarantees for the regular $600 events range from $25,000 to $40,000, depending on the game. Each $250 NLH tournament has a $10,000 guarantee. Mixed-game players have plenty of choice too, including a $600 Draw Mix, a $600 H.O.R.S.E., a $600 T.O.R.S.E. and a $600 Big O spread across the series. There’s also a $600 Seniors NLH on December 1 and a $600 Ladies NLH on December 14. Players in the regular $600 events start with 30,000 chips and play 30-minute levels. The $250 events use 25,000 chips and 20-minute levels.

BetMGM Championship Week Headlined by the $1,100 BetMGM NLH Championship

The series reaches its peak on December 16, when BetMGM Championship Week begins. The first event, at 12:00 p.m., is the $800 BetMGM NLH Mystery Bounty, which has a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool, 30,000 starting chips and 30-minute levels. Satellites for the other Championship events run every morning and evening. The week’s main attraction is the $1,100 BetMGM NLH Championship, guaranteeing $300,000. Day 1A is on Thursday, December 17, and Day 1B is on Friday, December 18. Both flights start at 12:00 p.m., and every player gets 40,000 chips with 40-minute levels. The surviving players return on Saturday, December 19, for Day 2.

The schedule stays busy after Championship Week too. On December 19, while Day 2 of the BetMGM NLH Championship is played, there’s also a $600 NLH with a $40,000 guarantee and a $250 NLH with a $10,000 guarantee. The ARIA Poker Open ends on Sunday, December 20, with a $600 PLO that has a $30,000 guarantee.
