King’s WSOP Super Circuit 2026: €1,000,000 GTD Mini Main Event Heads for a Massive Overlay With Two Flights Left
On this page

There may not be a better value tournament in Europe this weekend. With two starting flights left today in Event #4, the €1,000 Mini Main Event at the WSOP Super Circuit at King’s Resort Rozvadov, just 201 entries are on the board. The event guarantees €1,000,000.

Put simply, the €1,000,000 guarantee works out to almost €5,000 for every entry so far, about five times the buy-in. Unless today’s two flights draw a huge crowd, the organisers will have to add a large amount of money to cover the guarantee. That’s good news for anyone who still enters.

Days 1B and 1C: Small Fields, Big Value

On Friday, October 30, Days 1B and 1C played out. Both flights used a 50,000-chip starting stack and 30-minute levels. The top 15% of each flight finished in the money, and the top 12.5% advanced to Day 2.

Turnout stayed modest, partly because two other ring events were running at the same time. Day 1B drew 82 entries and Day 1C drew 79. Together with the 40 entries from Day 1A, that makes 201 entries so far.

Three players on Day 1B and two on Day 1C cashed but didn’t advance, earning min-cashes of €2,020 and €2,050 respectively. Two names appear on both lists: Britain’s Robert Bull and Austria’s Andreas Staschewski each min-cashed twice, turning two €1,000 entries into more than €4,000 between them. That’s a perfect example of how a guarantee overlay rewards players who enter more than one flight.

Ten players advanced from each flight. Slovakia’s Lukas Pazma bagged a massive 1,308,000 on Day 1B, the overall chip lead and more than 26 times the starting stack. Turkey’s Omer Kaya finished Day 1C with 667,000, third overall behind Day 1A leader Andrei-Alexandru Sasu (738,000) of Romania.

Today’s schedule: Days 1D and 1E start at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time. All survivors return for Day 2 on Sunday, November 1.

The €5,000 PLO High Roller (50,000 starting stack, 45-minute levels) also starts today, and several satellites offer a cheap way into the more expensive events. Cash games are running from €1/2 No-Limit Hold’em and €2/2 PLO.

All players must register through the WSOP Live app, which also has the latest updates, structures and seat draws.

What the Numbers Tell You

  • Average stack: about 402,000. With 201 entries at 50,000 chips each, there are roughly 10,050,000 chips in play. Spread across 25 survivors, that’s an average of about 402,000. Pazma holds more than three times the average.
  • Romania leads the survivors. Five of the 25 players come from Romania, followed by the Czech Republic and Germany with three each. Austria and Spain have two each, and ten other countries have one player apiece.
  • Min-cashes are worth double the buy-in. Because the payouts are based on the €1M guarantee, not the actual entries, even the smallest cash pays about €2,000 to €2,050. That’s twice the buy-in, which is rare for a min-cash.

The overlay math, in plain terms

Even if no fees were taken from the buy-in, the event would need 1,000 entries to cover €1,000,000 on its own. Once fees are deducted, the real break-even point is higher, likely somewhere above 1,100 entries (our estimate). With 201 in the books, the final two flights would need around 800 to 900 more players to avoid an overlay. That’s very unlikely.

For comparison, the WSOP Europe €1,350 Mini Main Event at King’s drew between 1,397 and 1,729 entries each year from 2021 to 2023. But that event had a lower buy-in and more starting days, and it ran as part of a bracelet series. Unless today’s flights see a huge late surge, the Super Circuit version looks set to pay out several hundred thousand euros more than players put in.

Practical tip: in an event with a large overlay, every entry has positive expected value before you even look at your cards. If your bankroll allows it, entering both of today’s flights, or re-entering after an early bust, makes more sense than usual. Just set a firm limit before you sit down.
