Major Poker Tournament Results: Latest Winners, Final Tables & Payouts

Last Updated on October 8, 2026 by Bala Kumar

If you’re looking for the latest poker tournament results in one place, this is it. We track the events that matter most: the WSOP, WPT, EPT, Triton, GGPoker and PokerStars. For each one you’ll find the winner, the field size, the prize pool, what first place paid and, where it matters, the full final table.

We also explain what the numbers mean. A $4 million score from a 196-player high roller and a $172,000 win from a $109 online tournament are very different achievements. This page is updated as new champions are crowned, newest results first.

Poker Tournament Results Today & This Week

As of Thursday, October 8, 2026: no major Main Event has finished today. WCOOP and WPT Australia both ended on September 30, and the next big festivals haven’t started yet.

  • Sunday Million Live, Campione d’Italia: the first live Sunday Million since 2017. It runs October 2–12 with a €1 million guarantee, and the winner is due October 12.
  • WPT Prime Lodge Championship, Austin: starts today and runs through October 12.

WSOP Results: 2026 Main Event

Lucas Jumalon won the 2026 WSOP Main Event on August 5 for $10,000,000. The $10,000 event drew 9,208 entries and built an $85,634,400 prize pool, the fourth-largest Main Event ever.

For the first time in a decade, the final table was paused. It was set on July 13, then played three weeks later on ESPN, August 3–5, at Paris Las Vegas.

Jumalon is a 22-year-old from Spokane, Washington. He came back with 194 million chips, more than double anyone else, and never lost the lead. He beat Finland’s Lauri Saaskilahti heads-up in 17 hands. That made him the second-youngest Main Event champion, one year older than Joe Cada was in 2009. His run nearly ended early: he finished his Day 1 flight with only 7,400 chips.

WPT Results: WPT Australia Championship

Alex Thompson won the WPT Australia Championship at The Star Sydney on September 30. He took AUD 450,900 (about $325,500) from a 527-entry, AUD 2,424,200 prize pool. He started the final day as chip leader and beat Filip Radic heads-up.

It was by far his biggest score, more than 16 times his previous best. WPT Championship events, with buy-ins around 3,500–5,000, are still very winnable for strong regional players. Earlier in the same festival, Cooper Feltham won the AUD 1,500 WPT Prime Australia Championship for AUD 187,793.

EPT Results: EPT Barcelona Main Event

Italy’s Manuel Ferrari won EPT Barcelona on August 29 for €1,002,488 after a three-way deal. Lukas van Eeden finished second and Spain’s Jose Criado third. The €5,300 Main Event drew 1,823 entries from 79 countries, the seventh-largest field in EPT history, for an €8,841,550 prize pool.

Ferrari held the chip lead for three straight days. It was only his third EPT Main Event and his first cash in one. The posted first prize was €1,370,050, so the deal moved about €367,000 to the other two finalists in exchange for less risk. The next EPT stop is Prague, December 2–13.

Triton Poker Results: Jeju II $100K Main Event

Nick Schulman won the Triton Jeju II $100,000 Main Event on September 16 for $3,854,888, the biggest cash of his career. He beat Bernhard Binder heads-up after a deal. The event drew 196 entries from 118 unique players for a $19,600,000 prize pool, the largest of Triton’s three $100K Main Events this year.

GGPoker Tournament Results: WSOP Online Main Event

Ukraine’s Andrii “STiger” Novak won the $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event on September 22 for $3,931,259. He also received a bracelet and a $30,000 Super Pass to WSOP Paradise. The event drew 6,008 entries for a $28,538,000 prize pool, about 14% above its $25 million guarantee.

Novak has played online for 15 years. He came into the final table as chip leader and dropped to 20 big blinds at one point. He recovered and beat Austria’s Simon Beckmann heads-up.

PokerStars Tournament Results: WCOOP & Sunday Million

All three WCOOP NLHE Main Events beat their guarantees when PokerStars’ 25th WCOOP ended on September 30.

Earlier in September, the 20th Anniversary Sunday Million ran as a $109 progressive knockout and drew 55,444 entries. Belarus’s “AHTOCb” won it for $255,337. Eight of the last 49 players had qualified through satellites, one of them for just $1.50.

What These Results Actually Tell You

The prize pool is smaller than total buy-ins. 9,208 entries at $10,000 comes to $92.08 million, but the WSOP Main Event pool was $85.63 million. The roughly 7% difference is the house fee for dealers and staff. Online fees tend to be lower: GGPoker took 1.5% from its Main Event pool.

Smaller fields pay the winner a bigger share. First place took about 11.7% of the pool at the WSOP Main Event and 13.8% at WSOP Online. Using posted prizes, it was 15.5% at EPT Barcelona and 21% at Triton.

Return on buy-in tells another story. Schulman won about 39 times his $100,000 buy-in, and Jumalon won 1,000 times his. The $109 WCOOP winner turned his entry into about 1,578 times its cost, and the Sunday Million champion about 2,340 times. Huge fields are long shots, but they are where a small bankroll can change overnight.

A deal isn’t a lesser win. Finalists sometimes split the remaining money, usually by chip stacks. The winner still takes the title and trophy; only the payout differs from the posted structure.
